Smooth Move Guys: Another Challenge?
Two of my NCHER colleagues (Daniel Bonanno from Podiatry and Yangama Yokwiro from Nursing & Midwifery) seem to be in cahoots. Daniel initially offered me $20.00 to eat only smooth puree for the day. Yangama has now said he will add $10.00 to that offer.
Hmmm………maybe I will do it for more money. Keep the offers rolling in…..

Speech Pathology Week hasn’t even started and already over $300 has been raised for Operation Smile. Yay! I hope we can reach at least $500 for this very worthy cause 🙂
Speech Pathology Week 2015
Speech Pathologists work with people that have difficulty communicating and/or swallowing.
Sometimes speech pathologists recommend that people with difficulty swallowing drink thickened fluids. These go down your throat more slowly, and can reduce the risk of some people swallowing the wrong way.
For 24 hours during Speech Pathology Week (7.00 am Wednesday 26th August –Â 7.00 am Thursday 27th August) , I will be drinking Mildly Thick – Level 150 fluids (or thicker).
